With razor-sharp wit and trademark sarcasm, Amy Young takes her life’s most bizarre and profound moments and whips them into observational comedy. Now based in Cleveland, Ohio, Amy spent a decade in the Los Angeles acting scene training and honing her skills. Whether she’s navigating the nuances of aging as a woman in her 40s or sharing wild family stories, her performances bridge the gap between personal storytelling and shared human experience.

Amy has performed across the country at venues including Flappers Comedy Club, Shenanigans Comedy Theatre, the Plano Comedy Festival, Brothers Lounge, the Laugh Riot Grrrl Festival, and the Cleveland Comedy Festival, among others. She was the runner up in the 2020 U.S. Comedy Contest hosted by Golden Artists Entertainment.
She started her stage career as an actor, and has performed dozens of theatrical productions including Girls Night: The Musical (national tour), The Rocky Horror Show (Rocky), The Foreigner (Catherine), Othello (Desdemona), and many others. While in Los Angeles, she appeared in appeared on TV and in movies such as Fresh Off The Boat (ABC), Perfect Harmony (NBC), Life in Pieces (CBS), LA>Vegas (FOX), Band-Aid (IFC), as well as many commercials and web shorts. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors Equity Association.
